Tammy Spencer

Tammy Spencer joined DP Partners in March 2008 and is currently the Development Manager in the DP’s new Southern California office. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the development of speculative and build-to-suit projects in the region.

Spencer’s extensive development background began with Oltmans Construction Co where she worked for 14 years as a Pre-Construction Services Manager, overseeing $600 million of development, and as a Senior Project Manager responsible for over $200 million of various types of industrial and office projects. Her career continued with Turner Construction Co. in similar positions and most recently with Hillwood Investment Properties where she held the position of Development Director and was responsible for land analysis and entitlement, all levels of construction management, and financial oversight. During her tenure she earned her LEED accreditation and was the firm’s sustainable development leader for California.  

Spencer earned a BS at the University of Oregon and a Commercial and Industrial Development Management Certificate from the University of California, Irvine. She has a significant commitment to the real estate industry represented by her participation in such organizations as NAIOP, USGBC and ULI. Spencer also exemplifies the DP passion for community support through her leadership on the national and regional boards of the Olive Crest Homes and Services for Abused Children, board and Scholarship Co-Chair of the UOAA, past board member of Oak Grove School and serving as a local and Global Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
