Reno, NV –Dermody Properties has appointed industrial development veteran Par Tolles, CCIM, as President of the company, effective Nov. 12. Tolles will oversee Dermody Properties’ corporate operations, including the six regional offices in Reno, Nev., Las Vegas, Nev., Portland, Ore., Savannah, Ga., Chicago, Ill., and Harrisburg, Penn. Michael Dermody will be the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and remain active in the vision, planning and development for the firm.

With almost 20 years of commercial and industrial real estate experience, Tolles previously served as Principal and Area Director of the Trammell Crow Company in Nevada, where he was responsible for the land acquisition, development, financing, brokerage, marketing, construction and property management operations in the northern and southern Nevada markets. This included oversight of management contracts covering five million square feet of commercial real estate with an appraised value of more than $150 million. With the merger of CB Richard Ellis and Trammell Crow,  Tolles also acted as Managing Director of the CB Richard Ellis offices in Reno, where he was responsible for the all day-to-day management of brokerage and property management including business development, client relations and strategic business planning. Prior to joining the Trammell Crow Company, Tolles was with Cornish and Carey Commercial in Palo Alto, Calif., and for Lincoln Property Company in Foster City, Calif.

Tolles is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and was President of the Northern Nevada CCIM Chapter in 2005. He is also a board member of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) and the northern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
