Dermody Properties Foundation Donates Check to the Food Bank of South Jersey.

LOGAN, NJ – Reno, NV-based Dermody Properties Foundation
recently donated a $10,000 check to the Food Bank of South Jersey to support their good works
and help allay the cost of providing meals for needy families, children and
seniors.
“We have been an
active corporate citizen ofLoganTownship and
GloucesterCounty since 2005 when we acquired the land for our
LogistiCenterÒ at Logan industrial park.We are very pleased to give back to a
community that is an important component of our success,” said Stephen

“In 2008, 49,000,000 Americans – one in six – struggled with hunger,
including nearly 17,000,000 children and 3,000,000 seniors.That represents an increase of 36 percent
over the 2007 number of 36,200,000 or one in eight persons,” said Bailey,
referring to the results of a 2008 scientific survey, conducted by Feeding
America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.Feeding
America
supplies food to more than 25,000,000 Americans each year through its 200
member food banks, of which the Food Bank of
South Jersey
is one, supporting 63,000 agencies that address hunger across the country.“We hope our donation helps our neighbors in
the short term.We also hope our
development business attracts jobs, an important component to a long-term
solution,” he said.
Since 2005, five buildings, totaling nearly 1,500,000 SF, have been
developed at LogistiCenter at
Logan,
a joint venture of DP Partners and Boston-based Great Point Investors LLC.According to Bailey, when Logisticenter at
Logan
is built out, it will accommodate approximately 5,500,000 SF of new
manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, industrial, research-and-development,
office and flex space, generating more than 1,000 jobs for the labor pool
encompassing south
Jersey, southeastern
Pennsylvania,
and northern
Delaware.
